Patent No. US 6,750,186 B2: A research-er in Jacksonville, FL, patented a method to remove mineral deposits, especially calcium carbonate, from the inside of a dishwasher using cleaner solid tablets or pellets. They comprise at least one chelating agent, a binder matrix material and optional colorants, fragrances, preservatives, bactericides, anti-foamers, acids, corrosion inhibit-ors and wetting agents.
